Default Need Identifying a Yamaha Moto 4

Just picked up a quad and the sticker on the front plastic says YFM250.

I do not see the VIN, but there are some numbers on top of the RH side of the crankcase "3GH-000287". Can you identify anything from that? I want to figure out what year this is to get parts!

Here is a shot of the front:

Hopefully these pics show up, but a couple problem areas:

1) Wiring near battery. Not sure what needs to be where wiring wise, as this was hacked before.

2) Rear caliper area - something is obviously missing. The bracket is not connected to the caliper. What is needed?

3) Wiring above right side crankcase. The red/white wire is fine, but there are two others. Not sure if they are cut, burnt, or don't go to anything.

Looks like somewhere around an '87/'88/'89 era.

How much did you pay for yours? I just got one and i think i overpaid. The motor runs good and shifts pretty good. Everything else is **** bushings, bearings, brakes, tires . This my first one and Im learing alot but everytime you fix something, something else needs fixed. I dont think mine was maintained properly.Like yours i dont know what year mine is.
