1998 Yamaha Grizzly 600 Electrical issue
I have a 98 600 Grizzly New Stator approx. 5 years ago complete motor overhaul. New Starter solenoid , New regulator fully charged battery. Will not engage starter. Took direct power to starter does work. Checked neutral switch appears to make and break with meter. Green light for neutral on.When start button pushed here clicking from solenoid but nothing to starter????
Motor and stator have approx. 2 hours of run time and minimal mileage since rebuild quad has just sat in garage. Any input or ideas appreciated once it runs it will be fore sale quick.

A clicking solenoid indicates a flat battery, bad connection between battery and starter (this includes earth wires) or seized engine. As you can spin the engine from another power source, we can rule out seizure, which leaves the other two possibilities. Do not assume a fully charged battery indicates a good one, only a load test can determine if your battery is sound. Double check battery terminals, solenoid terminals and all earth points to be sure there are no bad connections.
