Default 1990 moto 4 front brake conversion ?

Hello all I have a 1990 Moto 4 with mechanical front drum brakes. They Suck. I was wondering if anyone has done a conversion or is there a conversion kit available for drum to disk brakes? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

I WAS WONDERING THE SAME THING. I'm WONDERING IF THE WARRIOR FRONT END OR THE TIMBERWOLF IS THE SAME OR INTERCHANGABLE. I KNOW THERE ARE PART ON THE HONDA 250 EX THAT WILL SWAP OVER TO THE RECN, BUT NOT ABOUT THE YAMAHA. HAS ANYONE EVER DONE A CONVERSION?

Time spent trying to fit discs would be better spent making the drum brakes work properly. Discs are not much better than well set up drums, and both will lock the wheels at quite low speeds on loose surfaces, brakes can't get any better than a locked wheel.
Remove the drums, check the pistons work, check the adjusters work. Make sure there is no fluid or grease on linings, roughen linings and drum faces with coarse emery.
Discs have their problems too, I find caliper sliders seized on about 25% of bikes I service.
