sputtering at low rpms

Hi i'm new to the forum and i joined because it seemed that nobody else had my specific problem. It's a 02 660 grizzly it had been sitting for a couple years and i decided to get it going, cleaned the carburetor and replaced a couple things, got it running right, even bought new tires for it and got them on.

Then one day i went to take it for a spin,my battery is a little weak so i charged it then finally got it started, but as soon as i give it a quarter throttle it starts to sputter, pop, and make all sorts of noises.
Anybody got any suggestions.

Welcome to the forums.

When you cleaned the carb, did you take it apart and just spray the parts? If it's been sitting a while, it will need more than that. Also, did you drain the gas tank and put fresh gas in? Could be picking up trash from the tank.

Make sure the tank interior is clean, take petcock out and disassemble to make sure it is clean and make sure line is clean. You may have to clean idle jet again.

Load test the battery, replace it if it fails. If you have to take the carb off again rebuild it and be done with it.https://www.ebay.com/itm/Shindy-ATV-...xaC-B0&vxp=mtr

If the carb setup is the same on the grizzly as the Big bear 400 I bet you have the 2 jets switched around the big bear has 4 jets 2 that look the same and same threads and 1 long skinny one and 1 on the front side where it goes into your boot. Switch the 2 like ones around and I bet you have a running wheeler again. I just had this issue with the big bear and it was the problem. How I figured it out is I ran it with the choke on and it ran better so that told me it was starving for fuel so I know it was my error on re assembly
