I replaced the carb on my 1993 350 Big Bear and I'm wondering how many turns it should have. he old carb was opened 3 turns, the new carb is identical and was wondering if that's too much or not? Thanks.

Might be a good place to start, every carb/machine could be a little different. Once started, use throttle to keep it running until i warms up. Once warmed up make final adjustment until it idles smooth then open 1/ 8 turn. Some folks use a vacuum gage to get best idle if you cant tell be feel or hearing.

 

Bench setting is 2 turns out If you get to 3 you need to look at the jetting.
