2013 Yamaha TTR- 50 electric start not working
Hello I just bought used ttr 50 for the kids
when I press the start button I get nothing
no clicking nothing..
i used a battery from our other ttr so I know it works
so far I checked out the button seems to be good no broken pieces
and I replaced the fuse to no prevail
any suggestions appreciated
not sure where to start?

Not sure about the TTR, bigger Yams take the main live for the ignition from the solenoid, which complicates things, but there should be two thin wires go to the solenoid, one from the start button, the other either live or earth from the battery. I usually put a test lamp between them and press the start button, if it lights but the solenoid doesn't click, you have a dud solenoid. If it doesn't light, you need to find which wire isn't working. Any lock-outs in the circuit can be faulty, or a broken wire.
