Yamaha big bear
 

I have a 2001 Yamaha big bear and it has had some minor issues in the past, but just recently it has started to make a terrible grinding noise. This noise only happens when I turn left and the noise is coming from the rear. Anyone have an idea of what it could be?

Unusual to have a noise from the rear that only occurs when turning one way. Check a tyre isn't catching the plastic due to worn swinging arm bearings. However jacking the rear up and checking for loose splines on hubs and worn out wheel bearings, should enable you to find any rear end faults.

That’s what has me stumped, is the weird situation this is. Thanks for the advice I’ll start there.
