What is the top speed of a stock raptor or a piped raptor? Are they faster than banshee's?

I don't think I've ever heard this quesion before LOL... A stock Raptor will run in the low 70's depending on variables, just a little bit faster than a banshee. A piped Raptor will run in the upper 70's probably, depending on the pipe.

Sorry about the question i know alot of people ask it its just i heard so many different speeds i don't know who to believe. Just trying to decide between a 400ex or a raptor.

The top speed of a Raptor is dependant on elevation, rider weight, how you hold you mouth, ect. Most raptors I hear about on hear run about 70-72 mph, but I have seen 3 bone stock raptors run over 75mph, with 1 running 76mph. Mine ran about 75 sotck. Most of piped ones around here run anywhere form 76-80mph, but that is with jetting, gearing, filter, ect. A good running piped Raptor will just barely outrun a piped Shee.

One thing about when the magazines do top speed runs that they are usually on dirt, correct? On pavement you are bound to get a few extra MPH. I bet that's where some of the discrepencies in LEGITIMATE top speed posts come from.

hahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!A piped raptor will outrun a piped shee!!!!!!hahahahahahahaha!!!!! Not where i come from...maybe you mean a raptor with a piston, cam, and pipe..or maybe it's just your elevation...or maybe your'e just trippin J/K...i've never seen this done..a correctly running piped rappy WILL NOT outrun a correctly running piped shee...trust me i have alot i mean alot of experience with drag racing and i do alot of it...i also own a banshee which is no longer even close to stock and i owned an '02 rappy....my buddy has a rappy that ran about 79 mph piped and now it breaks 100 mph easy with a 700cc cylinder, 12:1 piston, port&polish, cam, headwork, and a whole lot of other work...and of course it will smoke a piped shee...no question about that.
