I noticed on the website it said "New tool less air filter system" Did they finally update the worst design since the Yugo? Great to see some updates to the Banshee.

 

I doubt it. I never needed tools to fix the air filter system on my 99. Unless of course you count the drill and wrench to install the Pro-flow!!!

I think the lid clamps on instead of screws now. So that makes it "tool less"

 

My 98 banshee air box lid clamps on instead of having screws, so I think there may be more to the new design than that.

 

I doubt it. They haven't done a darn thing for the Banshee since 1990, why would they know that it isn't really they performance flagship? If anything, they maybe use parts common to the Raptor, which is only slightly different from what I have seen. If they were smart, they would put the radial tires on the Banshee. That would improve its handling immensly.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

I'm guessing that they are using the raptor airbox on the banshee...
