9.02 in the 1/8, what happened to you that night we went to cedar creek? were you skeerd? lol.

No2StrokeBs 08-26-2001 08:30 PM

Mine ran a 14.76 at 81.2mph with a 1.87 60 ft time and 8.92 eighth mile time. This was with a 14 tooth front, Big Gun system, pro design kit and JTM swingarm extension. This run was made with 65 degree temp and 54% humidity. It ran a 15.43 at 75mph bone stock.

Hi No2strokeBS,

Those times are very impressive. I'm thinking about purchasing the Big Gun full exhaust, but the quiet edition. I'm wondering what the big difference is between the Big Gun Quiet edition and the ragular full race.

The quite "edition" has a quite core insert that muffles the sound and power a bit. The race pipe is the same without the insert.

I'm trying to organize a day on the drag strip[or a series] here in Las Vegas. Can you guys tell me what tracks you run on and a phone # would be extremely helpfull. Thanks.

Knutz- i did a lot of calling to find a drag strip that would let us run. When i finally found one it was a 100 miles away. we all had a blast. The tires really really took a beating. Would like to do it again, looking for a closer track. Do you think hoosier tires would be alot better and last longer on the concrete strip? I bet thoses ds you build would be good on a track. Our raptors hooked up well, to good really. Ridding a wheelie is not the fast way down the track.

Centerville Dragway, AR, June 28th

R - 1.182 LMAO (my first asphalt drag)
60ft - 2.118
330ft - 6.064
1/8ET - 9.594
1/8MPH - 68.47

hope to do a lot better once I learn to launch quicker and harder on asphalt - but for a fata$$ like me at 206# and all mx gear on, nerfs etc. and off road tire pressures I am happy, but want to improve. It is hard to launch with so much traction though.

Make sure them front tires are pumped up as hard as they can handle. You burn hp and et if they're squishy.

I thought this post looked familiar. Its almost 2 years old. And pump up those back tires too, I ran mine with about 15lbs in them. This allows you to spin them a little out of the hole, so you dont have to "walk" it so much.

I think I know the one your talking about Slim. Fully polished motor, skinnies on the front, and a real slick graphics scheme....something racing....I can't remember. Good looking bike if its the one I am thinking of.

Ward660R, I think the one you are talking about is the bike of HENDERSONRACING. That is one of the nicest Raptors I have seen along with Scotts. You can go to atvdra.com and see the HendersonRacing Raptor in the members section in the forums; we ran with him in WEST VIRGINIA. The guy who owns it is named Joey Henderson and he is pretty cool. If we can get some pictures posted of Scotts bike any time soon I will post them for you. Later Slim

Yup thats the one, HENDERSON. So it two different bikes.

The ATVDRA is having their nationals fairly close to me. I am thinking about trying to go.

Yeah its two different bikes but both are very good looking bikes. Maybe I will be able to make it to the nationals myself; we'll have to see how my schedule works out. If I can go I'll keep you in mind and maybe get a chance to meet up with you. We'll see. Later Slim
