I just put some new Fastline steel braided brake lines on my Raptor and I can't seem to get any fluid to go into the lines! It's taking forever. Is there a trick to doing this? Please help. thanks

No trick, it actually takes that long. Stinks, but is worth it in the end.

Try tapping on the calipers with a screwdriver handle. Also tap on the brake lines and on the T connection on the brake lines as well. If you pump the brake lever while doing this you will see air bubbles rising out through the master cylinder. It saves a little time. Vacuum bleeding systems work good too.

I had the same problem when I put new brakes on the rear of my son's 300ex. A buddy and I spent an hour or two trying to get the rear brakes bled, but couldn't get the master cylinder to build up any pressure, so hardly any fluid would come out. We ended up having to get a "vacuum" brake bleeder that connects to the bleed screw and sucks out the brake fluid via a pump lever. With this tool, everything came out OK.

It takes frieking forever to bleed these brakes. Half the problem is you can't tell how much brake fluid in the rezivour <sp?> by looking through that little window in the front. Just keep taking the lid off and filling it up with brake fluid and it won't take as long. It still took me 45 mins to bleed it tho.
