hello.. heres the story.. i bouht a 01 raptor in oct 2000 used .. first used one in NEW JERSEy.. never got the extended warr. VIN# 101
so 2 months ago and 3000$ in extra's later my trans locked up while shiftin into 3rd.. would start with clutch in and whne released its just stalled motor.. so i show a friend a week later and get madd so i drop the clutch with some RPMS.. and the wheel go cluck and unlock and spin in reverse.. so i ride it and all is well.. no metal in teh oil or anything.. so now 2 months later my trans shifts like crap.. doesn;t wana go into second soem times... whats wrong?? what do i do to save some $$$$$$... fortin gear set is 800$.. will this solve everything for sure??? do i let teh dealer do it and take like a frickin year.. or a good shop in NJ... either way i am gettin raped cause i have no extended warr. and can't get one cause its a year old..what to do.. PLEASE GIMME SOME INFO HERE... THROW ME A FRICKIN BONE...... haha just lookin for some smart ideas to save $$$ either way i see i am lookin at liek 800$ for gears and liek atleast 500$ in labor.. but will the gear make everything 100%.. please HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP PPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP PPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!1 i'm dyin here... new toy and cost more then its worth...

 

Just got my raptor back for the same
thing saturday took them a month to
fix it because it was a warranrty job
I have 2 pages of parts replaced I
would bitch to yamaha about it because
I heard that some people have done that
and they paided for parts(good willed them)

 

hey red rocker would u mind emailing me the list of parts that went into ur quad??? so i know what kinda stuff should be replaced... thanx for ur help..
