I've seen a few posts stating that they're kodiak doesn't do well in cold weather. I have a 2000 and ride at a spot that's at about 9000'. All summer it ran fine, then I took it out in about 0-20 degree weather and it would start fine every time, but it wouldn't idle - it would just die.
Any ideas on the problem that is occurring or suggestions for modifications for cold weather use? |
it is because the colder the air the more dense(thicker) it is so you need to rejet to get more fuel in along with the more air that comes in from it being colder

just turn your air screw out little, that should do the trick. your air screw usally effects performance from o to 1/8 thottle.
