Storing Raptor up on its but?
#1
Well I have a Blaster and a Honda 300EX. When I put them in the shed to store them for a while, month pulse, I will lift the front end up and store them so there pointing straight up. I do this for two reasons, 1, space savings, 2, keeps the weight of the machine off of the suspension. The Blaster is a no brainier. The Honda being a wet sump motor I really did not worry about storing it that way plus the battery is sealed. Been storing them this way for five years. I have just bought a 2002 Raptor and worried about storing it this way. Would the oil in the tank want to drain into the motor? What about the coolant?

I've only had my Raptor on it's butt for about an hour at a time While cleaning & such. I've never checked the oil after I let it back down but I will next time.
The only things I can suggest is to run all the gas out of the carbs or they'll leak out & make sure the gas level in the tank will be below the gas cap level when it's on it's butt.

I occasionally transport my Raptor vertically (when I have to put two ATVs in the bed of my truck). Here's what I've seen. Biggest leak - Gas at filler cap on tank. Make sure you drain most of the gas. 2nd leak, coolant resevior. The cap is only a spring loaded flapper. The coolant will slowly drip out here. I put a pipe plug in it. 3rd leak, coolant resevior hose. The small rubber hose that goes to the top. Not sure why, but coolant would drip out here too, until I reclamped it. 4th leak - Gas from carb goes into air box. Shut off fuel petcock and run until engine dies. Will get rid of most of the fuel (Heck, you're probably already doing that since you're storing it).
Note on storage - If you're leaving it for a long time, you may want to stuff a rag into your airbox snorkle. In a tool shed, you neve know what might crawl in there and make a nest?
