I guess that i am riding WAY to much...lol

Went for a 70-80 mile ride and about the time that i was on my way home (around 10 miles left), i noticed that the bike seemed to be hotter "between the legs". The temp light wasnt on, so i just pushed for home. I pulled the bike up on the trailer and low-n-behold, there it was....the "green" stuff was leaking on the floor. I looked under the bike and saw the radiator hose had a small leak. When i went to push around on it...it started STREAMING out!

Well, i have the bike in the shop getting a new hose (i know that i should be able to replace it myself, but i am "physically challanged").
My question to all of you is: Is there a skid plate that is made to protect that area? The stock skid doesnt cover the hose at all. I recommend that everyone check out thier hose under the bike. It is on the driver side, behind the front tire and a couple of inches above the skid, BUT to the side of it. It might have been just a freak accident, having a stick pop up juuuuusssst right and nail 'er.

What about a hose cover? like a breaded hose? just curious....
