I finally installed mine today.... and it's WONDERFUL. This is definately one of the most worthwhile things I've changed on my rappy. Shifting is beautiful. The linkage ruins the feel that you could get with a direct shifter. It is much easier now to hit neutral because of the increased response and feel. As far as i'm concerned this is a must have for any raptor owner. It does, however, make me wonder why Yamaha would even fool with the linkage. It would seem that putting on linkage would be more expensive and it ruins the response...

Anyhow... just got back from Wayne and i'm tired .... so theres my rant for what it's worth
