How do I tell the difference between Mikuni and Dynojet main jets? I have what I believe are Mikuni jets in the size I want but I need to make sure they are not Dynojet jets. I know the numbers and flow don't correspond between the two. These are going in my Raptor. I am trying to get it jetted prior to the arrival of my full Yoshi. And also can someone confirm what the two stock jet sizes are? I haven't got in the carbs yet and am counting on one to be a 150. Thanks.

Stock jet sizes are (if your sitting on your quad) left carb 140 right carb 145.
Mikuni jets have letters and the jet size number. Dyno jets just have the numbers. I believe the letters are RG but I could be wrong. |
Thanks Wsrdskin. You saved me some time and a possible screw up. Turns out what I have was a dynojet and now I know I'll have to pick up some Mikunis.

<< Mikuni jets have letters and the jet size number. Dyno jets just have the numbers. I believe the letters are RG but I could be wrong. >> I thought the Dynos say "DJ 170" or what ever size , dont they have DJ plus the size # on top ?? |
My old DJs had a small dot on the left side of the number. The Miks have a line that runs around the side of the jet while the DJs are smooth. The Miks also have a "R" with a square inside of a square on the top of the jet, opposite side of the size.

My dyno jets also have a dot next to the number. My mikuni have the R and what I thought was a G but turns out is a box inside a box. (similar to a G) Also they have the line running around the outside like Ward said. Don't know how i missed that when looking at them yesterday.
