Right now nuthin's broke..........Nuthin's wating to be installed.

What is the name of the illness where if your NOT wrenchin' your not happy??

Right now I'm thinking:
1) Extend my swing arm +2
2) +2/+4 axle
3) New ITP .190 rims +1 offset out (front & rear)
4) Maxis Razor tires
5) MacDaddy Rebuild on my rear shock

Ha ha ha, LMAO!

I've been there Greg and know how you feel. You need another project!

So..........what do you think Swy Buddy??

Blue Leader can hook me up on the swingarm extension, there is a Canadian company that is making a +4 axle that looks suspiciously similar to the stock axle in color and style. I called them and they said to use my stock locking nuts on their new axle. It's not adjustable, just a solid +4.....but that will put it out there comparable to a Bombardariar, so that would be fine. The new rims and tires will just plain look good, plus the stock rears are 10" wide and the Razors would be 11" (more wider ) I think with going Offset +1 out in the front should set me up well. When I added my tripple rate Works shocks in the front, it dropped and widened me a little, so the extra +2 total in the front should be a sweet set up. I have heard good things about the rear shock upgrade...the MacDaddy and the Elka. Not sure which way I leaning yet on that one. The rest I'm pretty sure I am going to be doing.

What are your thoughts??

Yea......there you go. That should keep me busy for a while.

I could change the coolant & while I'm there I could put fresh air all the tires too.

If your going to get even a little nuts on your Rap, which I suspest you do already. I would recommend the RPM axle. It has a "true" lifetime warranty and is very nice. It is +5", adj and costs a little more then LSR or DuraBlue, but is definitely the best out there IMO. PM me and I can send to a place that sells them the cheapest to be found.

On the swingarm extension. Definitely recommended!! I'm suprised you haven't been complaining about the front end coming up all time yet. It really becomes a problem with a built motor. Myself, I went +2 because I like to other riding then just drag racing. It helped alot and was worth every penny.

Maxxis tires. Whatever......... Holeshots, Maxxis, Shredders, their all basically the same. I prefer Shredders or Holeshots myself. IMO the maxxis are a little softer and tend to wear a little quicker. Just make sure to go 4-ply.

On the offset rims, I'm a little cautios about. You will get more bump steer, tend to bend tie rods and or break rod ends more often. Again, this is just my opinion. I may be able to have something for you on the front end by FSW's.PM me and I'll fill you in.

Rear shock. If money is not an issue, go Elka. If you are not a real MX guy and want to spend money in another area, go Mac Daddy. I use the Mac Daddy and like it. Much better adjustment then stock, set-up for correct weight and riding style. Either way, you will be happy!

The swingarm extension is a must, especially on a built Raptor! It has been one of my best mods for my Rap!

I run Shredders and like them alot, they do last a little longer than some of the others, and hook up just as well I think. I have heard of some new Maxxis Razor's II - has anyone seen them, or have them?? Is the tread pattern any different than the original ones??

One of my next investments will be an extended axle as well. In the next couple of months I will have one!
