Default my mechanical disc brakes............

suck. the pads are really tightly pushing together, the caliper is off, i cleaned and greased it, but the pads are still being pushed together as if i was pulling the brake lever. is there something to loosen or anything? ineed help

Ummmm...don't you have a manual?

If you can't push the brake piston in, loosin the bleeder valve.

If you still can't push it in then you may have use a C-clamp to compress it.

Put back together and bleed the brakes!

yes, will do when i get hydraulic brakes, but in the meantime, ill just bring it to the shop, i believe its still under warranty

Default my mechanical disc brakes............

ok here it what u need to do take the 3 allen bolts out of the side of the caliper pull the caliper apart the side half then take the white gear lookin thing and pull it out a little to unseat the teeth on it (this is the adjuster) turn it whichever way it will turn it shouldn't click or you turnin it the wrong way when u get them to seperate alittle put a screwdriver in between and pry them apart



ok now put the brake aliper bake to gether make sure you line the little pin up in there you will see it
when your caliper is back on pump your brake a bunch to get the adjuster to adjust them
