new hp clutch is stiffer but not abnormal. doesn't shift through gears 3-5 when not running-typically gets hung up on one. when running have to let the rev's lower before it will catch next gear especially 3rd to 4th and 4th to 5th shifts. have inspected everything in and out. have adjusted clutch and even tried different oils. now its all apart?????

Has the bottom end ever been apart...did the quad shift fine with good clutch action before you upgraded the clutch?

Double check the order you installed the clutch plates....did you get the o-rings in their correct location (pt # 17 in the clutch diagram)? Double check everything in the clutch diagram is what I would do first.............I misplaced item #22 once and had a time getting things too work correct. I would double check the Clymer with the online link I posted before.....check it out. Hope this helps (ps...pull the rear brake lever off the case...it will wear through and FUBR).
