Stock silencers with aftermarket pipes?
#1
Dont have the money right now to buy those sparky spark arrestors for my DG pipes, so I think I'll have to use the stock silencers. I have done this before, but when I put the dg silencers back on, it runs great. With the stockers on, it runs not so great. What is wrong??? Are the dg silencers spark arrested?

I only mean changing the silencers and not the total pipe. I changed the stock silencers to the DG silencers and it ran so much better. Is there anyway to make the DG silencers legal?

Even just changing just the silencers changes the performance of the engine, you said it yourself that it runs a lot better. If you put your stock pipes back on and drop down a size or two on your jets it will smooth out for you.
Changing anything on the pipes of Banshees makes a diference.....................re-jet..
The only thing I know of is the Sparkys.
