Questions on Grizzly stock exhaust modification.
well i finally made the time to give my grizz some more ***** and do the stock exhaust modifacation. i just ahve a couple questions.
1) the muffler "cap" is stainless right, i just need to know what kind of weld to use
2)how long can i drive it safely before tacking it to the dealer to re-jet and adjust the valves on it? is it ok to drive like a mile in the winter? (cold winters in buffalo NY)
i can't wait to do this, i also got a k&N air filter to put on also. please help me out with these questions.

I have not checked, use a magnet. You cant go wrong with using a stainless rod even if it is Mild steel. If you have a buzz box 5/64 or 1/16 dia. Electrode. Tig would be your best best and produces the best quality weld. Should not make any difference when you take it to the dealer, If you have a service manual you can to the valves and rejet yourself and save you some $$$$$$$$$. Good luck.
