well i broke down last month and bought a 2003 660. it the funnest machine ive owned so far. but it does have a flaw so far and thats the rear end. when i get it into 4th gear the rear starts to shake quite a bit. but when i look at it doent seem bent. i had a wolverine before that i bent the axle on and i could tell its the axle. but im not sure one the raptor [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img] any suggestions whould help

Check your air pressure in the rear tires.
Use a low pressure tire gauge that goes from 0~15 psi. They need to be as exactly the same as possible.
For high speed hard pack I run 7 psi all around, it makes sliding easier with the stock tires as they have some serious hook. Also low pressure can deform the tire slightly under power, a soft tire will move around.
Make sure both tires are seated completely on the rims.
Look for rocks in the tread.
Make sure the carrier bolts are tight.
Make sure the rear axle is properly aligned.
Make sure the axle nuts are tight.
Check the axle bearings for play.

Any of these conditions could cause an imbalance which would translate in to a viabration or wobble

That's all I can think of right now.

i do have a rear flat tire but i put slime in it. still goes flat but im pretty sure the tires not the problem its either the the carrier bolts arent tight. the rear axle isnt properly aligned or the axle nuts arent tight. it might be the axle bearing but there isnt any play. ive only had it for a month but ride hard

its the slime if the rims and axle are not bent. its cold out and the slime wont heat up to even out, its just sitting there in a puddle, dont use it again just get it plugged.

yeah that might be it it has been 5-25 degrees for the past few days . i didnt think that stuff would cause a problem like that. ill check it out thanks[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

it's the slime. my buddy's shee had the same prob. just about shook the bars out of his hands. get new tires. slime is hard to get out.next time tube it or plug it. imo, last choice slime.
