Default Another Raptor rear tire/wheel question(s)

I am researching a rear tire upgrade for my Raptor. I have read all the old posts on tire choices, and sizes, but still have a couple questions that some of you may have experience with.
I already have the 12 tooth front sprocket, and the gearing is just right for some of the tight trail riding I do
( where we use mainly 1st & 2nd). I would like the extra ground clearance of the 22" tires, but don't want to give up my lower gearing as a result.
1) Will it really be that noticeable?
2) There are two sizes: 22x11x9 & 22x11x10. Would the 10" rim make the tire less tall?
3) I have read old posts about variation in actual tire height ( as a rated 22 or 20") as they relate to manufacture.
How do the Maxxis Razors stack up? These are my choice so far.
4) Should I consider more offset than factory wheel to create a wider rear track width?

And last, but not least, I plan to flip my rear linkage as outlined in other posts. Is this still considered a "good" mod for someone who never jumps his quad?
Thanks....

Default Another Raptor rear tire/wheel question(s)

1) Im guessing that it will be noticable - probably much like going back to a 13T front on 20" rears.
2) the 10" VS. 9" is basically the bead dia. 22" still stands as the overall height of the tire either way. Just make sure the wheel matches this dimension.
3) They do vary by mfg. The Holeshots are as close to a full 22 as I found. Can't comment on the Razors but the 22" Bandits measure 20.75".....
4) Offset = good. If ya dont mind the little bit of extra weight, ITP steels wheels are very strong, cheap, and have a nice offset adding 2" width per side. I order mine as a mounted tire/wheel tire package from Rockymountain and the cost of the wheels is minimal.
