My right rear wheel wobbles and my local Yamaha mechanic told me that it would cost $180 to $200 for new bearings on that wheel. I do trust his judgement, but this sounds very expensive. Does this price seem fair? How long is normal for the new bearings to last before I have to pay again?
Thanks . . . John

The right rear wheel has no bearings of its own. It has axle bearings. The bearings are fairly simple to change out if you havent totally blown them out. Rocky Mountain atv sells the bearings and seals for both sides and it'll cost you about $20 for everything you need. Just use lots of high quality grease. If it's the wheel itself and not the axle your hub/axle splines may be shot which could cost a few bucks more.
