$13,000 later and I have a trophy!
Well, Ive invested $13,000(counting everything) Now Ive got a trophy to put on a shelf!!! LOL My quad is a dune quad, but it can serve as a drag racer if need be. This past Saturday, I hit some semi-organized sand drags(up hill, 100 yards) in Safford, AZ. 7 classes of quads, with mine being in the fastest trophy class, 350CC Open. We ran 2 outta three and then advance. I won my first round and went back to camp. A few hours later I was up again. I won and thought I was done for a while. NOT. My buddy comes screamin up the hill and says im up again, until the finish of the class. So I knock down, in procession, 3 more guys in my class to the win!!! At one point I thought about protesting and wanting some time to let my bike cool off( I had run about 11 races at that point), but since I was in the groove, decided against that!
So I walked away with a trophy and a big **** grin...
Too bad I lost my round of King Of the Hill(1 st place finisher in each class) to a 440 ex. I didnt want to red light, so I made sure I didnt get to excited. Well I must have litterally fallen asleep, cause by the time I took off, that bastard 440ex was 1/3rd up the hill. I did catch him though, about 2 feet past the finish line!!!! LOL!
