I'm looking at three different full pipe systems. MBRP, Sparks, and DMC. How big of a difference is there between these in the in the db noise levels. I want the sparks or the Alien systems but I'm afraids the noise level will be to loud. What do you guys think? Are they obnoxiously loud? I have heard the MBRP is quiet. Feedback Needed.

 

I think if you check out a site about the oregon dunes,they have a record of decibal levels that they have tested..and i guarntee if you are looking for something that is under the 93 decibal level ,then you need to stay stock,all the one's they tested were uver 96 decibals,white bros,yoshimurs,big gun,and i think the fmf was at 96 decibal levels

Kind of put;syou in a bad situation,i say fu$% em and get what ever pipe you want,they are kind of sending a message that you cant up grade parts on your bike,i mean you can but one of the first and most important things is the exhaust...
At leat that is how i felt and i am glad i dont live in oregon,but it's just a matter of time before you wont be able to get into a park with a loud pipe,just like the spark arrestor,why do i need one in the duness,and more and more you have to have one every where you go..

I have a sparks X-6 on my raptor and when I go ride it is by far the loudest Quad out there. So yes very good pipe but very loud.

 

My alien is louder than heck, but not quite as bad as a GTYR exh. The old style spark arrestor would allow you to remove discs and quiet the bike(loose power also).

 

I had the Alien and now the Sparks and there both real loud but the Sparks is a way cleaner loud. Best sounding pipe I have heard so far.. The MRBP and Graydon sound good also

 

Pat, would you mind giving your opinion on the Sparks VS Alien set-up?

 

The Sparks pipe is loud, but I love to hear it echo off of the trees when I hit the trails[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

Sparks pipes are so darn loud.

I had one on a 1994 300EX and that son of a B*tch was so loud it hurt my head. I had to sell the quad because everone in my town was calling the cops on me! Its a really great exhaust tho )
