How fast is your 03 Wolverine?
 

I just got my new 03 Wolverine a few weeks ago, and was wondering how fast everyone else's wolverine goes. I have read that they'll go 57 or 58 stock, but so far I can only get 52 on my TrailTech speedometer. Is anyone else able to get to 57 or 58 with a stock machine? Also, I was wondering if I should get the AlbaAction Kit for my Wolv, and if anyone else has it on theirs how fast does it go? Any info is greatly appreciated.

well the more your engine breaks in, the faster it will alow you to go. you say you've had it for a few weeks, i would just keep at it and see what you get later on. it might not get that much faster but you never know. a pipe and intake kit seems to be what alot of people are doing to theirs. When mine was stock i could run about 57-58, running alot side cars and what not. Another thing that could be is that if the trail tech has to be calibrated to your machine is that your calibrations may be off. Test you trail tech up against something that you know is accurate and see what happens. alot of times you just have to play with em.

Mine averages throughout the 50mph range. Depends on riding conditions altitude and other things.

Thanks for the info, I think I'll try riding it alongside my truck to see how accurate my calibrations are on the trail tech.

Most domestic cars overestimate their speed like 1-3 mph.

I got the trail tech calibrated correctly and now I get 57 mph out of the stock Wolv.

My Wolverine is stock I was riding against my brothers foreman 450 and he top out at 58mph and passed him like nothing. The reason I think mine runs faster than other stock wolverines is cause I dont have the Racks on it and I put Premium that day I was riding

What!? A foreman going that fast, what ever. My kodiak smokes foremans and blows by rubicons and I've had it up to 56 mph on a straight road. Never been on a wolv but they are light so they should honk down the trail.

that may have gave you a little, but a stock wolf should beat out the foreman 450 anyway. its alot of fun to pass those bikes when they are doing all they can do. so those new kodiak 450s run pretty good huh, thats awsome. It could be that the foremans speedometer was off maybe a few mph, that is the case with alot of those utilities with speedometers.
