Moose,
Was getting ready to try and make a wheelie bar myself. Any tips? What kind of a wheel did you use? |

The toughest part about making the wheelie bar was the top mount & figgureing out where to put it. Don't make it too short or stiff it'll make the rrear tires unload. The tire is a Go-Cart wheel with a front hub for the axle. Here's a pic of my top mount |

You wouldn't think you'd have to put a modarator in line but I do what I have to!! If you have any more questions just ask. I have several pics of my wheelie bar on my web site, just click the link in my sig. |

Never thought about making a bracket like that ... NICE!!
I though about putting a strut in to lower the back and just mounting the top bar to the strut. Do you think that this would hurt more than benefit? |

Do you think that this would hurt more than benefit? I made mine like I did for a couple of reasons, 1. I didn't want to have to remove the rear shock, It's a PIA to do all the time, so I just strap down the rear end to compress the suspension. 2. I wanted to use the stock bolts (On the linkage mount) since longer shoulder bolts are hard to find. |
