What i ment was that we are living in terror each day. now you try telling your lil girl why she cant go to the zoo beecouse their is a bomb alert, or try to explane to a 5 year old why he needs to take a gas mask to preschool, then we'l see how much vision you'l still have.

 

Get over yourself...i grew up in the cold war with the fear that the ussr was going to strike us with nuclear weapons. constant drills as a child of dropping where you are and hiding under your desk etc etc. ive got family buried in korea, france, cuba and ground zero NY. we have kids getting shot due to gang related crimes throughout the u.s daily. Who the H do you think you are?

and why don't you ponder this...How many Israeli's were born in the middle east...huh? thats right..that land was taken with our support. Just like we did to the indians. Moraly wrong. but in the long run...ultimately justified. tell your little girl...it's the price your people must pay for sanctuary. Get off your soap box. people are oppressed everywhere. starving to death or just plain slaughtered under the guise of ethnic cleansing.

Im am not in to myself nor do i think to much of my self, i am just a 16 year old kid speaking from experence. i am well aware of the fact that we are alone without you, and i have no enterest continuing to jastify what my people must do to servive. by the way if you wanna hear the truth about the midle east, dont listin to cnn, their very bias and full of ****, you wanna here the truth go over to fox news.

You are the most MATURE 16 year old I have ever incountered,and you are well spoken. I have alot of respect for young men in your situation, That are intelligent enough to stay away from the hate... That would be the easy way. and you choose not to.

I do feel Raptor660RNH's frustration too. As I am sure Many other people do as well. It is sometimes hard to constantly defend nations, and them HATE you at the same time(Iraq). I have to constantly remind myself that BAD news sells news papers,and gets TV ratings. And I TRY to believe in my heart that for every Person that is screaming "Death to the US" and burning the american flag, Their are a 1000 that think "thank god we are free!!"

It is hard to focus on the big picture when everyday we americans are hearing from a different country that we are BULLY's ,and we have a seperate agenda. Our country has its own people Protesting the war,and creating Stress on our country, But they too are the MINORITY, but seem to get the most "air-time" on the tv,and new papers.

But for every american srceaming "down with bush" thier are 1000's that support our goals,and our troops in the middle east.




I read once at a UN summit, thier were many country leaders and diplomats(france and Germany were thier also), inflamed about the presents of the US in the Iraq,and they were accussing us of having our own agenda for this war!

It is ALL human tendancy to protect what is thiers, but it takes a special people to protect and sacrafice for what ISN"T thiers.

Just when I think i have gotten out I get drug back in.

First of all to my Israeli friend, my family can be traced back to the vikings on one side, and english royalty on the other. Knowing this, along with $.75 will get me a cup of coffee at 7-11. The fact that your people lived anywhere in biblical times means nothing. However, I do believe that if the U.S. turned you loose you could take the middle east, so this isn't a put down.

I agree with my boy Micheal Savage, borders, language, culture. If I understand what they are saying, my Canadian friends understand about what two languages do to a country. Now we are hearing that we should have two languages, and who is pushing it?? Could it be our friends the liberal, socialists?
