While shorthanded volunteers worked on the Wild Rivers Trail near Trego WI (Spring 2004), there was no shortage of riders enjoying the trail but feeling no obligation to help.
Manpower from two clubs complete a 300-foot bridge east of Minong WI, October 2009. The bridge allows ATV's to use a snowmobile trail that crosses a wetland. The deck is wavy, because you can't do any digging or filling in a wetland to level it out. If you are wondering why a bridge is being built across what looks like a grassy field, see previous picture.
The ground was snow covered, but underneath this trail groomer found an unfrozen swamp in early December 09. During three days of futile attempts to pull it out, this large machine kept sinking deeper, untill it tipped over. It was finally retrieved with the help of special equipment.
