Weekly Used ATV Deal: 1986 Suzuki Quadracer 250 for sale or trade

The dog days of summer are upon us, the riding is perfect and your ATV Connection editors are scouring SprocketList in the hopes of finding you a sweet deal on a previously loved machine.

That said this week’s entry takes us to a place called Grand Ledge, MI.

According to the listing this is a 1986 Suzuki LT-250R with approximately 15-hours on its rebuilt engine. It was bored 80 over, plateu honed and the head milled by .008″.

The engine was rebuilt with a Wiseco piston including low-tension rings, Boyesen reeds, High Flow cleanable air filter, high volume water pump and new Timken bearings. The rest of the quad has new ball joints, rebuilt front calipers and master cylinder. A twist grip throttle, FMF silencer and nerf bars round out the goodies as well.

The plastic is listed as fair and the seat has been professionally restored by an upholstery shop. The seller says this quad is both fast and reliable. He’s looking for $1100 cash and will only consider trading for a good running 4-stroke sport quad.
