I also run 27's on my 06 rubi, I've never had any tranny issues or cv problems but they did chew up my fenders near my footrests, they rob abit of power but i can go 5 times as far or higher than stock, so whats a few mph. if you can afford it and want a smooth ride buy radials, the mud styles work just about as good now adays. Anyone trying to discourage you are underestimating the rubi reliability.

hey action or james, do you guys run a lift kit? I held the factory 25" tire up to the mud lites today. Suprisingly, the hieght is almost the same as a 27 in a mud lite. So i am going to use the 27s. Does the fender kit you mentioned relocate the front fender braces or something?

I run the high lifter lift kit on my 07 Rubicon, 27Inch mudlites, 9 in front, 12 in rear, and 2 1/2 inch wheel spacers, It is like different bike!!! It looks huge, and i feel is more stable than ever. I am very close on my fender clearance, but i can fab somthin up no prob. Its worth the $120 for the lift, and only takes about 1 hour to install.

I have a Foreman 450, no lift stock wheels, was running 9" front, 12" rear Blackwaters now running 9" front 11" rear Mud Lite radials, no rubbing at all. I think the kit I seen consisted of new braces that were flatter and or relocated to clear larger tires. Search highliftes site or google Rubicon fender braces on the net.

Highlifters does have a fender brace relocator, but it is for 00-04 only. It wouldnt be hard to modify it thow to fit them, i am look at some biger tires, and it looks worth it.

If im correct ill just make up a few extra sets and send ya a set aswell......
