the new at rides incredable well. i think the tork and power is right on. i was impress with it.</end quote></div>

I had the opportunity to ride the 09 AT this weekend, and I was not impressed. Thus, I chose to purchase the 08 manual instead. Saved me about $2k too.

The manual, to me, feels like it has a great deal more pep.

Well, the dealer didn't have much to say about it. He just said honda has been making these for years and it should be reliable.

It felt great for an automatic. It has quite a bit of power, and would be well worth owning. My only issue is the price is very high.

So you are sure it was the 2009 420AT with IRS??? You looked a the rear end and it did have IRS????

There is an older 400AT that is SRA and does not have fuel injection. It was discontinued a couple years ago, and uses the same hydrodynamic transmisson as the Rubicon. My local dealers have these leftover and sitting around...they just don't move because of price.

The Rancher 420AT, sure doesn't sound like it has a same old same old transmission.......

Yes, I am sure. I was talking to the dealer and he said it is the first of their 09 AT models on the floor.

Yes, it had IRS. It was pretty nice actually.
