Rubicon Losing alot of gas out of tank vent
OK so i just got back from my week long trip to black mountain. While i was there i noticed that every time we stopped to take a break and shut our atv's off i was catching a whole lot of fumes. I pulled the end of my gas vent line from the hole in the handlebars and was amazed how much gas was evaporating out of my vent line. My buddies had no such issue and they ride hondas. So my question is, was it just heat from the motor and tranny that could be causing this or is it possible i have another problem. I know some fumes r gonna come out of this vent, but it was overly exxcessive. Any imput is greatly appreciated.

Oh it may or not be related but when i get in very much mud, right after i let off from my throttle, my rubicon wants to die also. In order to get it started again, i have to give it half throttle. It appears to flood itself out, but once i get it started again it runs fine. It is a fairly new bike, as it has only 300 miles and 50 hrs on it.

Both my Rincon and Foreman will vent pretty good. It seems to mostly do that when you've just shut the engine down after a long ride on a hot day.
I think it's normal, and a combintation of the gas getting sloshed around, and heat.
I don't think it is related to your stalling problem. I guess I'd check the idle speed, or I'd be wondering about idle mixture.
