out riding all my fluid was gone and so were my brakes. Put new pads on they were working fine but the brake pedal has to pushed further down before it comes to a stop. Had a long hard day of riding on friday again my fluid was low brakes were ok but now my emrgency brake was gone, i srewed the screw in farther so they are now working but the screw is almost all the way in. In the start of the day my emergency brake was fine. Any suggestions. The brake pedal is still engaging late compared to how it use to be. i would tap the pedal the brakes would lock up now it take about 3" push down to lock up. Thanks

Have you bled your brakes lately? Have you tried fresh dot 4 fluid?

Brake fluid does break down, and need changed.

Have you checked the pads for wear?

Replace the pads and the fluid, bleed the system and have fun.

First of all take the parking brake off.. NO need for a parking brake when u an put it in gear.

Second bleed your brakes..

You can remove the parking brake, just don't trailer it with it in gear. All the rocking is hard on the tranny.

Yea definately dont haul it while in gear what I do since my P-brake is removed is put a zip tie on the front brake lever to lock em up so it doesnt roll around or off the trailer.
