I see a lot of guys bring 55 gallon drums of water to the race and then use a power washer to wash the machiens off. My question is, what is the best power washer to get? Those little ones don't have suction on the line so with out a constant flow of water on them they will not work. Is there a special kind that I want? thanks for all the help!

any gas one will work. i see electric ones at the track too. my brother uses a camble hausfield (sp) gas, and a 45 gallon drum. we lay the drum down in the back of the truck and it's gravity fed. it has a little less pessure at the track than at home, but still all kinds! i hope this helped

I use a Craftsman 1750 psi. 4hp. with a 55 gal. plastic drum attached to a two wheel dollie. Turn it on it's side to operate.faucet spigot screwed into the bung. Works fine. Not as good as at home but still a nice option for those muddy races. Trouble is keeping your buddies from hogging all the water on there bikes.

You can get a nice 2100 psi Excel at Home Depot for around $300. I paid $275 for mine last year, and bought the extra revolving tip for another $35. It works very well.

I wouldn't get a very expensive pressure washer. I have a Generac w/honda motor I got from Lowe's for about $300. It has done a great job. We got one at work too, and it has done excellent both of them get plenty of use with no problems.
