Is it safe to remove the coolant overflow resevoir under the seat of a banshee. If I just run a hose to the pipes so it will dump on them when it overheat, will that be alright, or does the banshee circulate fluid through this resevoir. I am wondering this because I will be racing soon and need to cut as much weight as possible.

Although you wont be cutting much weight, it will not hurt to remove the coolant bottle. All this bottle does is catch coolant, it does not recirculate it. I took it off my bike after installing a Toomey racing 2 into 1 uni filter system. When you take it off, just run the two hoses down between your engine and swingarm with the carb overflow hoses. This way the coolant will run out on the ground.
