Default similar problem '99 trailblazer 250

Before I go doing something like replacing a cdi box that I don't have a spare for, I wanna be sure it's not simpler than that. When I first checked it had small spark and now it's got none, I first started noticing that the bike wouldn't idle correctly when it was cold and then after that it wouldn't stay on if I didn't have any pressure at all on the throttle. After continuing to ride it I went a little deep in some water and mud and the bike turned off and hasn't started since. I turn the bike at the solenoid and I still unhooked the kill switch from the cdi, I tested my ignition coil live and ground and I got 1.3 which is fine. I want there to just be some blown fuse somewhere but I can't locate any fuses. What is the first step I should take now? (I have lights and power and it will turn but even when I spray starting fluid it won't start because it has no spark and as far as I know the kill switch works perfectly fine).

Pull the plug cap and ground the wire to the cylinder and see if it has spark. If it does could be a faulty plug cap.If it still doesn't have spark check the coil tab to ground. Should show around .3 ohms. Bare coil wire to coil tab should be around 6.3k ohms. Believe you have a stator black/red wire and brown/white.Resistance between the two should show around 120 ohms.

Originally it had no spark, now I set up a new ignition coil as well as pulled the crankcase and it has intermittent spark. But now I tested my old coil with a multi tester at the live lead and the ground and it read fine.

None of my ignition coils have a reading from ground to boot

I used two coils so far, one read 1.3 from live lead to ground and the one on it now reads 1.6 from live lead to ground

The "tab" is where the cdi wire plugs into the coil.. What is the stator reading?? Problem may be a weak exciter coil. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Polaris-Trail-Blazer-250-1999-2000-2001-2002-Pulsar-Coil-3083422-/262041770955?fits=Make%3APolaris&hash=item3d02e81bcb&vxp=mtr Plus if you've been in mud and water it can get through the recoil hosing into the flywheel and stator. Had to replace several exciters coils that shorted out because of this. May or may not be the problem.

You say tab I say live lead, and I'm trying to locate where the brown/white meets the black/red (I'm assuming the brown/white is the one coming out of the cdi and going somewhere near the back of the bike)
