i already piped my z jetted and filtered. i was wondering if cams and a new cdi would give me better acceleration and more top speed because it will rev 1000 more rpms and if im right you need the cam to get the most out of the cdi. whats a good brand for the cams and the cdi. Thanks

If your going to get the CDI box, get the HotCams Stage 2 Cam and The Dual Rate Valve springs, if you put a stage 1, with stock springs, and a CDI, you might float the valves at the increased RPM. If i got a CDI, i would get stiffer valve springs to be safe. Good luck.

Hey mucky, with all those mods a DYNA CDI would really help sort them out. Good luck, thats one mean Z, and i love the silver!
