Found out a month or so ago that the carb on a Raptor 80 is notorious for those screws backing out. My buddy's kid had one and all of a sudden it lost compression. Turns out one of the screws had lodged against on of the valves holding it open. The other bounced around in the cylinder for a while. Needless to say they needed a whole new top-end that was only partially paid for by Yamaha.
I'm not sure if lock-tite is impervious to gas or not but you need to do something to keep them from backing out!
Did you get them out or are they still in there?

Can you apply Loctite and get the screws back in,the "red" permanent loctite should hold.
When you clean a carb you just clean the choke plunger, pilot jet, main jet and pilot air jet.
here a good how to link on cleaning a carb.Disassembly and Cleaning of a Mikuni Round slide Carburetor
Its a slide carb not a CV but all carbs have the same parts to clean.
