I have a 2003 ltz400 and I have a buddy that has a wrecked 2010 kfx450. Do parts interchange? like even the motor. can I swap out the whole thing? He has a better axle as well.. Rims.. Thanks new to the atv world.

 

The rims may swap. Other than that they are completely different machines. Axle possibly but not likely. Motor will swap, but it isn't going to be a "bolt on" upgrade. At the least you will need new motor mounts. The question is, why doesn't your buddy just rebuild the Kawie? He should be able to buy anything that is busted right up to and including the frame.
