Default Newbie, and another rescued Moto4

Just joined the board. I have inherited my Dad's toy, a Moto4 250 (I believe). Hasn't been started in over 7 years. I dragged it out of the barn this past weekend and hauled it home. Pulled the sparkplug - no fire. Help? Starting point? No manual yet.

How do I post pics?

Default second try

Okay, I'll try this again. Got spark. Cleaned gas tank, put in new gas. checked air filter (foam disintegrated when touched, ordered new K&N). Not getting any gas. Poured a few drops in the spark plug hole. Started and ran til gas ran out. Carb next?

might be s stupid question, but did you remember to turn fuel on. Otherwise, take the carb of and clean it good. Make sure you pull the jets and clean them good as well. You should be able to daylight looking lengthwise through the jets. If you know anyone that has a torch tip cleaner, they work pretty well for cleaning the jets.

Yep. Have gas to carb nothing through. Ordered a rebuild kit. Figured why not while I have it apart.
