Weekly Used ATV Deal: Honda 250X

Winter is here but the grass is still green for much of the country. Your editors, as always, are digging through SprocketList to make some off-season riding a reality without breaking the piggy bank.

That said, this week’s ad takes us to a place called Mount Pleasant, PA.

According to the listing this is a 1992 Honda TRX250X (manual clutch, not to be confused with the later 250 EX models) with low hours.

The seller says it boasts fresh plastic, that the motor is quiet and has no taps, ticks or odd noises and that the clutch is very smooth, just like new. “Reverse and all 5 gears work flawlessly. Shifts are firm and engage very positively.”

The only thing the quad could use is fresh tires though he says these 4 all hold air just fine.

He’s looking for $1000 or will consider trades for guns (AR-15 or SKS).
