Ask the Editors: Fuel Gauge Right on the Gas Cap?
They aren’t common. But they do exist.
The good news? These things certainly do exist! The bad news is that there isn’t one that we’re aware of designed specifically for the Coolster DX 150. Universal ATV fuel caps are available like this one for $22 from EPI Performance at Dennis Kirk.
Polaris offers one (Part # 2871442) that will accommodate 1997-2009 Scrambler 500 – 1997-2002 Scrambler 400 – 2008-2009 Trail Blazer 330 – 2003-2009 Trail Boss 330 – 1996-2006 Trail Blazer 250 – 2000-2004 Xplorer 250 – 1996-2000 Sport 400L – 2000-2002 Trail Boss 325 – 1996-1999 Trail Boss 250 – 1997-1998 Sportsman 400L – 1996 Sportsman 4×4 – 1996 Scrambler – 1996-1997 Magnum – 1998 Magnum 425.
You will likely want to bring your Coolster’s cap to your local Polaris dealership in the hopes of finding its size equivalent. eBay in particular has a plethora of universal cap sizes.
They’re rare but they are out there if you know the dimensions of your cap.
