Ask The Editors: Well, Where Is It?
The wait is almost over. We think.
These are all very valid questions and, for the record, our lack in followup coverage is not due to our overlooking the machine. Like you, we’re thrilled with a return to the ATV sport class. As you noticed, Denago is certainly not setting the industry ablaze with keeping the community (including media outlets) updated with progress on what’s looking to be a pretty popular model.
Of course, they are a smaller brand and the logistics of launching a new ATV line are surely daunting.
We visit their site and social media for updates regularly as well with hopes of being able to pass any information about a potential release date along. Of course, if anything surfaces, we’ll waste no time in spreading the word.
As it stands, as far as we’ve heard from industry insiders, the Daytona 250 FI has wrapped production and will begin shipping this week. We’d like an official press release to back these rumors up but at least waiting to see if they’re accurate shouldn’t be much longer.
We’re hoping Denago is able to devote more of its resources to promotion, social media and media outlet relations once they’re over the difficulty of getting the machines out to their dealers as yours is certainly not the first letter of complaint in the lack of updates we’ve encountered.
