With a 686cc SOHC liquid-cooled motor, this is the machine to conquer the dunes and terrain. The five-speed manual transmission is standard; also new for the 700XX is a reverse gear that is fairly easy to engage.

The 700XX is the only sport quad in its class to have a double wishbone suspension. Independent double-wishbone front suspension uses premium shock absorbers featuring dual single-rate springs that allow a lighter, more compact package with 10.5 inches of fully useable travel. For the rear it is almost the same setup. Independent double-wishbone rear suspension, made possible by the innovative centered chain drive system – features steel upper and aluminum lower A-arms. Using piggy-back reservoir shocks, the system provides 9.3 inches of fully useable travel.

With all the power and torque in this ATV one may wonder: how’s the brake handle? Two large dual hydraulic discs in the front and one in the rear make this ATV great for braking and sliding around burms and ruts, and maneuvering away from rocks with ease. The Radial tires with knobby pattern provide superb traction and cornering ability. Adding even more traction are the special, large-diameter 11-inch aluminum rear wheels, which allow for ideal CV joint angles and A-arm lengths. This results in superior power delivery, optimum suspension action and improved durability.

Riding, racing, good looks, and comfort will be on everyone’s mind. The tough, polyethelene push bar up front and polypropelene rear A-arm protectors are sharp and stylistic. A sculpted, plush seat provides excellent comfort and superb sport riding ergonomics. Finally, an ATV for those long days, pushing the limits from dawn till dusk. The cowl-integrated headlight with dual 30-watt bulbs and a rear LED Brakelight provides distinctive sport style and excellent functionality.

With all this power and technology the 700XX is a massive 508 pounds (with all standard equipment, full tank of fuel at 3 gallons and all other needed fluids).

Although Honda is adding new color options, one traditional is still intact: Red – Metallic Black/Silver or Metallic Black/Red.
