Ask the Editors: Chest Protection For The Big Guys
Dear ATVC: I’m looking for a chest and back protector that will fit me! All the ones I look at don’t have a size or go up to a xl. I’m 6’1 330 pounds with really big shoulders- I mean big. Pants and boots I’ve found I’m like. 3xl in jersey I’ve just been nervous about ordering a chest protector. Any help would greatly appreciated!

When it comes to these matters, we usually recommend heading down to your local shop and “try before you buy” to make sure you don’t waste money on something that doesn’t fit right. However, with limited inventory and sizing available, it’s not always possible. Especially in this case, where an uncommon size will rarely be stocked.
