Fit for a king.

Dear ATVC: I have a set of Mud Lites that are 25x8x12 up front and 25x10x12 in the rear. The bad news is my rims are 12×8. Will I have issues with the tires?? ROSSI660

Let’s take a moment to break down the specs when it comes to tire fitment.

1st Number = The tire height when fully inflated (In this case, 25×10-12 is 25″ tall).
2nd Number = The tire width when inflated (25×10-12 is 10″ wide).
3rd Number = The rim/ wheel diameter (25×10-12 is 12″ in diameter).

In your case the difference of 2″ in rear width would still make mounting them possible. More than likely you’d have no trouble whatsoever running these tires with these rims.
