We usually get questions like yours before you actually make the purchase but have good news for you- the Moto Tassinari VFORCE 4 Reed Valve (part # V4145) will indeed install and function for your 2004 Yamaha Blaster.

In fact nearly every engine internal is compatible from 1988-2006 when it comes to the Yamaha YFS 200 (Blaster) and you should certainly find some performance enhancements in moving up to the VFORCE reed with its all-new reed petal resin system, carbon fiber and lay up, pre-curved reed petals to ensure a better seal, and wider reed cage for maximum airflow. In fact the combined reed tip area is increased by 10.5 percent resulting in increased total air flow not only from stock but even when compared to the older VFORCE 3.
